Viktorie Janovská absolvovala bakalářské a navazující magisterské studium Archeologie pravěku a středověku na Filozofické fakultě Univerzity Karlovy. Specializuje se na archeolingvistiku, raně středověké osídlení a toponomastiku. Ve své připravované disertační práci se věnuje výzkumu český místních jmen na pozadí vývoje raně středověkého osídlení.
