Call for candidates: Research Group Leader in Comparative Area Studies

The Faculty of Arts, Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic) is seeking a research group leader in comparative area studies. As part of the project funded by Horizon Europe (ERA Chair in Multidisciplinary Area Studies, ERA-AREAS), this post holder will be responsible for coordinating a newly created Center for Multidisciplinary Area Studies (CenMAS).

This year’s only ERC Advanced Grant in the Czech Republic goes to the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. It was awarded to the historian Kateřina Čapková

Police intervened at CU FA, the faculty is safe

Updated 12 June, 12:00 | On Wednesday, after noon, the Police of the Czech Republic intervened in the main building of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University (náměstí Jana Palacha 1/2, Prague 1) - they were securing persons because of suspicious, potentially risky statements on social networks. There is no danger, everyone is fine. The event is over, the situation is under control, we are communicating with the Police. The building is open and in operation without restrictions.

PhD Students Now Have Their Own Room at the Main Building of CU FA
